20 months of Sawyer.

Where has time gone?!? I now have a 20 month old! My sweet Sawyer is growing more and more into a toddler everyday and as much fun as it is watching him learn and do more things the selfish part of me wants him to stay a baby forever!

Having the last few months staying home with him the majority of the time has been such a blessing for the both of us! I love waking up to his sweet face every morning and starting our day with lots and lots of snuggles and giggles! As his dependency on me lessens every day I can only hope that he realizes that the less he needs his momma, the more I need him!

In the last few months he has began to fold his hands to pray and says Amen at the end, he is becoming better about asking for things instead of just fussing, his manors are improving with please and thank you, he is better about sleeping in his big boy bed, he loves to mow with Daddy, ride in the fire truck with Grandpa, play the play station with Brady, ride the razor with Nene and Papaw, blow bubbles and eat popcicles on the front porch every night after dinner with Mommy and Daddy, visit Grandma Debbie and Mamaw Kack on Tuesday's and play with Mamaw Kack's dog Tess (or T as he calls her), give hugs and kisses to anyone that ask (family that is lol), take long baths, chase Jaxon boy on his airplane, and most of all that sweet smile only seems to grow cuter each day!

I can't wait to continue watching him grow into the sweet and cute little human that I am lucky enough to call my son!

Week 36!

Well here it is folks, week 36! I can hardly believe we are at this point already! Truly seems like yesterday we found out we were expecting and now I am making final preparations for delivery!! Wow!

My body is starting to slow down and  the full effects of being huge and pregnant are in full swing! I am going to the doctor once a week now and last visit I got to see little miss on the big screen again! She was 6lbs and growing beautifully! She is head down and already making her way down the shoot! Lol! She was being a tad bit of a stinker not letting us get a great look at her the way she was laying but we still got to see her! Can't wait to see her precious little self in person!

Her closet is now stocked full of clothes and diapers! Hospital bags are packed and the car seat is in the car!

Here is a picture of our first piece of pink in the playroom! Thanks to my Momma for buying this for Eleanor! She will be so precious in it!

Only 3 weeks or less and we will welcome our sweet bundle of joy! Eeek! Can't wait!! And here is a pic of my Elle belly!

34-35 Weeks!!

I do believe the title of this post says a lot in itself, as it is clear I am a bit behind in posting an Elle Belly update! I am currently 2 days away from being 35 weeks however, forgot to post my 34 week post so I will combine the two and if we are lucky still get to a 36 week update next week!! Needless to say I am having trouble keeping up with life these days!

Our little sunshine is growing beautifully and the anticipation to meet her is at an all time high!

CRAVINGS: For the most part my cravings have subsided although a frequent chocolate milkshake is definitely in order! Most days I am troubled in picking what to eat which in the past has never been a problem! Just seems that nothing ever sounds good and when it does I run into an issue such as that on my birthday...I had come to the conclusion that a resturant here in town that serves fried tenderloins and the best cheese curds around, sounded delish so my mom and I headed there for lunch only to find out upon arriving that the truck had not brought the cheese curds! Holy hot mess! I mean after all the tenderloin is great and all but let's face it, only when paired with the cheese curds!!! I was in such shock and devastation that we literally left the resturant! I know I know it's a bit much! And for those of you who don't know me your probably thinking, lady get over it and order something else for crying out loud! And for those of you that do know me well this is just part of my make up, my mind doesn't allow me to grasp change or things not going as planned, very well! Brat I know! No need to rub it in, I'm fully aware here! But anyways there you have it...no new major craving around here!

FEELINGS: Pregnant! In a nut shell! I have been having a lot of people ask how I'm feelings lately, probably because I'm obviously close to popping time and well  look like s**t, so my answer is...tired, fat, pregnant, and on the verge of permanently swollen! Yes I say on the verge because there are special days like today when I wake up and am able to leave my wedding ring on and others well, that no ring or watch for that matter are fitting on this body! Oh and let me mention that sometimes this happens mid day such as yesterday when I went on a field trip to the children's museum with my little brother and half way thru the dinosaur exhibit had to tuck my watch away in my purse! #thestruggleisreal

OTHER NOTABLES: I ordered my sweet girls baptism outfit this week and continued packing her hospital bag! The bag seems much lighter this time around now that I know what is really needed!

DIAPER PARTY: My Momma and one of my besties threw us a diaper/keg party last Friday! It was a great time surrounded by wonderful people! We all had a blast! And we're blessed with an adorable diaper bag and 2190 DIAPERS! Wowza!!! Talk about hitting the mother load! Our friends and fam are AWESOME!!!

Seriously though...that's a lot of diapers!

And here is the Elle Belly and all her glory!

And of course my little lover wanted in on some of the picture taking action!<3

Well I reckon that's all for now! Until next week! Enjoy!

My. Day. Of. Birth.

On this day, May 18th, 25 years ago I was born into a family of some of the best people this world will ever know. I was born to a brave young woman and a driven young man who could have easily chosen a different route for my life. Their life was not easy but never the less they gave me a life better than most would dream. I cannot fathom the hardships of raising a child being only a child yourself but with God as their guide, they succeeded in raising me to be the woman I am today. I will be forever grateful for the life my parents gave to me and the childhood memories I will always hold dear. Although life often deals us a hand we were not prepared for, God always has a bigger plan! I believe God knew just what he was doing when he chose my parents! Today I am thankful for the love my parents have taught me. Today I am thankful for the courage they showed me in being a parent. Today I am thankful for my Mom and Dad!

A flashback to my baby days!

And my first birthday!

Today I celebrated my life and all the blessings that God has given me. I am so thankful for a wonderful family, great friends, a loving husband, and my precious babies! I was shown tons of love with balloons, flowers, cards, phone calls, facebook posts, food, and famous peanut butter pie! It couldn't have been better and I couldn't be more thankful!

Cheer's to the next 25 years!

Mommy Day At The Zoo!

My 2nd Mother's Day is in the books! That little precious 6 lb 14 oz baby boy that is my definition of perfection is now a walking, talking, full of energy, 19 month old and I am hot mess of 33 weeks prego with a little girl that will soon fill our hearts with the same joy as our first did! I have heard more times than I can count how fast life will pass you by and to enjoy every minute of it, bla bla I always thought to myself, that is, until I became a Mommy! Now I understand how vidid that memory becomes when your babies grow right before your eyes and you just wish for anything that you could live in that very moment for the rest of your life or come back to visit a specific moment in time! We all know that is unfortunately not possible but what is possible is to make each day in life a moment to treasure forever and a memory that will last a life time. Mother's Day to me is not simply one day out of the year but yet every day out of the year that I get to wake up knowing that God has blessed me with two babies that I will cherish and love unconditionally for the rest of my life! That is something that cannot be celebrated in just one day! However, as for that special day where us Momma's are reminded of just how lucky we are to have these blessings we call children, I am thankful to be able to spend the weekend celebrating with my little family!  Starting with the zoo on Saturday, church and lunch on Sunday followed by a nice long nap and lots and lots of hugs and kisses!

Happy Mother's Day!

Here is a glimpse of my Mother's Day!

The zoo tuckered this little boy out!

Hope you all enjoyed your day!

Week 32!

Well friends we are down to 7 weeks or less! Although you may be thinking 8, the doctor informed me at my last appointment that he would induce me at 39 weeks! Yippie! Although I sure hope that I just go on my own knowing that I can be induced if wanted a week before my due date makes me thrilled!! Only time will tell!! The daily aches and pains are making me all the more anxious to meet our sweet little girl!<3

Yesterday was a big day around here, we had our maternity pictures taken by my amazing sister who did an excellent job! So happy with how they turned out!! Here are a few of the pictures she took...

EXCITING NEWS:
We have two showers coming up to celebrate little miss Eleanor! 1 diaper party and 1 family shower! We can't wait to celebrate with all our family and friends!

NOT SO EXCITING NEWS:
I have noticed in the last two days that my rings are getting tighter! Not looking forward to that! I didn't swell until the last three weeks with my first little! Oh how things are different with the second!

CRAVINGS:
Cinninon sugar pop tarts have been a hot item for a while now but I realized I hadn't mentioned them just yet lol! And I'm still on the Yoo-Hoo kick!

DOCTORS NOTES:
The doctor says everything looks great and I'm measuring perfectly on track. He also says that little miss is growing wonderfully and her heartbeat is great! Always such a relief to hear everything is going right on schedule!😊

FEELINGS:
Most days I feel like a hot mess! And to be very honest, 95% of the time I stand up I feel as though she may fall out! Yes, fall out! I have been getting this "round ligament pain" as they refer to it and any of you Momma's that have had this I'm sure understand what I mean! I also personally think our little sweet pea is going to be a big baby given the simple fact that when she moves the pressure is so much that it seems like my skin may tear! Lol! I love feeling her and knowing that she is happy however, after a few rolls I'm ready for her to take a little nap!

BIG BROTHER NEWS:
Our sweet baby boy seems to be excited for his sissy also...he is obsessed with touching my belly and laying his head on it. He also loves to sit in the double stroller! Although he doesn't quite understand what is about to happen, I think he will love her and be excited once she's here! Giving him a sibling makes me so proud. I can't wait to see both my babies together! He has also been such a big boy sleeping in his bed! Hopefully little sis won't wake him up too often!

Here is the updated belly pic! She is sure growing!

Happy Sunday Ya'll! Enjoy this beautiful day!
